Does your child suffer from food allergies or intolerances? Are you tired of your child not being invited to parties because it’s just ‘too hard’ to cater for them? At Kids Pantry, we understand – and we can make our party venue allergy-friendly so everyone can join in the fun (provided that parents fill in our allergy form for ANY and ALL dietary restrictions)!

Kids Pantry’s founder, Theresa Bradaric, has an anaphylactic son so she knows from experience the challenges of food allergies:

“As a mother of an anaphylactic son to egg plus many other food intolerances, I’ve found it extremely hard to find allergy-friendly venues, and even found it tough getting parents of his friends to feel comfortable catering for his needs.

Perhaps the biggest challenge is those people who don’t really understand the severity of food allergies and just laugh it off, saying ‘ they’ll be right’, when actually they really won’t be alright if we don’t treat them with care.

Allergies are often treated like a disease, when in reality it is just the body disagreeing with something foreign. After all, in today’s world, convenience has become the key demand of consumers, because people feel it’s easier to reach into a pack to feed the family rather than cook something ‘from scratch’ from ‘real’ produce.

I believe families with allergies are somewhat more fortunate as meal times are prepared with care and understanding of what goes into our daily foods. It’s this passion for putting healthy, fresh and clean produce into our bodies that underpins everything Kids Pantry does.”

If your child would like to attend cooking classes, school holiday programs or a birthday party please consider what we have on offer to make their day special and safe. Please also ensure your fill in our Allergy Notification form before attending any Kids Pantry session.

We cater for allergies and food intolerances to the ingredients listed below. If your child has allergies that we have not listed please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss your child’s needs.

We also welcome any advice or suggestions you may have, so that we can help serve you better.
